Most donut boxes and treat boxes give the customer one tier and a lid, and everything is visible at once. This round box keeps a second tier under a flush top. The outer tier is a round walled body with its own lid, and a smaller round box sits in the centre with a lid of its own; closed, the two lids sit level, so the pack reads as one clean cylinder. Open it and the outer tier rings the inner box, so donuts and cookies can travel around a centre well of macarons or chocolates without touching. An optional insert holds pieces upright in the outer tier, but the box works without it. That makes it custom bakery boxes for a mixed assortment rather than two separate packs. MOQ is 10,000 pcs.

Two Tiers, One Flush Top

The second tier costs no extra footprint, because the inner box sits inside the outer one rather than on top of it. That is the whole trick: the outer wall, the outer lid and the inner box are cut from the same board, and the inner box drops into the centre well, so the pack stays one round cylinder instead of growing taller. Both lids close level, which is what makes it read as a single box on the shelf. Pack the outer tier with donuts and the inner box with the item you want kept apart, and a treat boxes order carries two assortments without two packs.
The Flush Lid That Keeps the Secret

Closed, there is no seam and no step: the inner lid sits level with the outer lid, so the top is one continuous surface. That is deliberate, because a stepped lid gives the second tier away and turns a gift into a gimmick. The fit is cut to the actual inner lid rather than to a nominal size, so the two surfaces meet without a lip or a gap. A customer lifts the outer lid expecting one tier and finds the cookies around the edge first, with the inner box still closed in the middle. For a cookie gift box, that pause is the whole point.
Donuts, Macarons and Cookies in One Pack

One box can carry three different items without them touching, which is what makes it work for an assortment. Donuts and cookies go in the outer tier, arranged around the centre well. Macarons go in the inner box, where the walls stop them sliding and the lid keeps them from drying. Smaller pieces that would roll loose sit in the inner box too, packed snug. The only real constraint is height: the inner box has to finish level with the outer lid, so tell us the tallest item going in. Shops selling custom macaron boxes and donut assortments side by side get one box instead of two.
Sizing the Box to Your Menu

Sizes are built from the items, not from a catalogue. The outer diameter follows the largest piece in the outer tier, the centre well follows the inner box, and the depth follows the tallest item so both lids still close level. Most shops settle on three diameters covering a six-piece box, a twelve-piece box and a sharing box. Send the item diameters, the number of pieces per tier and how they sit, and we will work out how many sizes your menu actually needs. A donut boxes line for a single large piece is usually a different die from the twelve-piece.
